The Garhwal and Kumaon Himalayas comprise of some of the highest mountain ranges in the world. Trekking in Garhwal can be very rewarding. Snow-capped peaks, breathtaking valleys, crystal clear glaciers, lush meadows, meandering rivers, dense forests, azure lakes, terrace farming locales and cascading waterfalls are all a part of the settings for a truly exhilarating trekking experience. The hill walks in the Almora, Ranikhet and Kausani area will take you to a serene, mystic and resplendent world.
Day 01 :
Arrive at Delhi. Pick up from Airport/Rly. Station Delhi and transfer to Hotel. After refreshment Half day sight seeing of Delhi including Rajghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort with Light & Sound show in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 :
After Breakfast drive to Guptakashi 185 km (via) Deoprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag. Night halt at Tourist Bungalow, Guptakashi(1,319metres).
Day 03 :
Drive to Ukhimath 14 km. Trek top Deoriatal 8km. Night halt Alpine style.
Day 04 :
Trek to Dogal-bitta through thick forest all the way ascending from 1500 to 2000 metres, 16km trek. Night halt in the compounds of DogalbittaInspection House Alpine style.
Day 05 :
Trek to Chopta, 9 km on snowy slopes in winter months where base camp will be established. This is a great adventure.
Day 06 :
Attempt Chandrashilla peak 4,679 metres via Tungnath 7 km and return to base camp or acclimatize for the next day's attempt. Departure for Delhi.
